I believe that there is. I have to have rice in every meal. The main dish of the meal does not matter. I would eat fish, pork, beef or any seafood. I hear you when you say you can't cook after coming from work. Give the kid some more time and he/she will like it eventually and may even have some best friends. I have 3 kids and 2 of them have gone through that stage. All of us have frustrations. We should be able to handle it well otherwise it will get the best of us. If you are not able to check that, you will be grumpy all the time. There is also a stray cat in our neighborhood. It used to poop on our lawn. I was told that it does not like the smell of orange peels. So I scattered some orange peels on the area it usually does the deed. I have not seen it for a while. Maybe because it is winter or perhaps its owner found it. I hope for the latter. Havng full day kindergarten is a big welcome for working parents since they do not have to pay for a nanny or daycare. It would be nice also to have kids as young as 4 to be introduced in an environment where they could interact with other kids. This would make them more sociable and less dependent.
