Than stop corporate welfare, farming wellfare, etc. Than let's see how it all works out. Many well off get justas much wellfare as the poor. You also answered your own question, te problem here is the people who work and really can not afford health care, they get the shaft.

We do have a messed up hybrid system here that comes down to the govt does whatever the corps want it to do, depending on what corp is backing the current political "winners". This benefits the politicians and the filthy rich.

The point is those who try, often get the shaft. This is not conducive to wanting to work hard. There is more than enough cash in the U.S. How bout capping executive pay and allowing those who work hard to get a fair share?

Biofuels do have a place if done sensibly. The key is the use of woody, non-food source plants such as switchgrass and the growth of cellulosic tecnologies.
