 Excellent points. I just watched a video about this. I think it was called "Affluenza" from PBS, kinda old, about 10 years. It raises many valid questions about our lifestyles including how the pursuit of money effects our families. |

I agree, the diesel Volkswagons are getting popular around here. Two people have actually told me they are getting a combined city/highway around 50mpg. We should build them in the U.S. but often times cars with the best gas mileage have to be altered to even sell here because of "safety" restrictions. I am all for better gas mileage with more conventional fuels. Of course, increased efficiency... |

 The question if the poster knew this before today was addressed already. Extremely well stated Ivaldean. This country was founded on freedom from religion as well as freedom of religion. The new world was one where you could worship how you want, that is why we do not have a state sponsored church like the Soviets did and the Chineese do. |

I accepted his calling when I was born..he told me not to waste my life worrying about him because a good God does not want humans wasting their time worshiping an ideal that does nothing for them. Your God sounds egotistical, does not sound good. Oh well I will not argue religion anymore, to each his own I say. Let's hope that remains the philosophy of our government. |
