Hi, this time, I verified through my security question... I think it may be an option here in Aus, but now they have changed it so I can ONLY verify through SMS. However, I have to add that my prize was already verified before they refunded it. Any ideas why this may be the case?

I have sent in a support ticket.... I hope they will reply soon. I think it is rather fishy too, so thanks for agreeing on this. I'll try and update you guys if I get any response.

Hey, thanks. I think the problem this time is that they offered me an option to use my security question, and that was what I chose, to test it out. This may be the core problem. I might try again and see what happens, but I have sent in a support ticket. Thanks for your sympathies though. :)

Hmm... that is very wierd. I would think the if the SMS option wasn't compulsory in Canada then it wouldn't be in Australia too. Even then, they shouldn't have refunded an already verified shipping just so I can give them my phone number again. Something is up...

Wow, you are a wealth of information! That clears a lot of things up, but I am still rather annoyed about this process overall. :P I don't like giving my phone number in case they start signing people up to SMS subscriptions. But that is still a better option than having it mailed to my address. Then that would take forever! :P I think it's something they copied from Google. Google ...

I think it's a random process, not everyone goes through it, though I have to admit that the comments that come from Australia say that our mobile phone numbers are not registered as proper cell numbers, so I don't know why they are getting us to do it too.

I always verify immediately, so it was definitely verified. I think it is as Shiito has posted, that they are now implementing the SMS verification on my account, though it doesn't work because i have an Australian mobile phone. :( If it really doesn't work then I will definitely have to get a new account and ditch this one.

I see... I think it is just my account. I think they are suspecting fraud on my part though I haven't done anything. I think everything is probably normal for you guys, but it's not for me. Btw, have you noticed anything strange with SBTV lately? I always refresh the same video but now I can only do it a limited amount of times before it takes me back to the homepage. Hmm.
