PasardJay responded to a discussion called Can Spurs Repeat as NBA Champs? in san antonio spurs.

What I'm about to say is quite obvious, but if they do this year they will have earned it more so than last year with the Cavaliers just barely showing up, and getting swept. LAL is standing in between them, and the repeat as well as the winner of the BOS/DET series. I would say good luck to the Spurs, but it wouldn't be sincere just sarcastic so I won't. Go Celtics!!! Pierce & Kobe, KG & Pau, ...

There's so many, but I love Lamar Odom he played ball at my home state of Rhode Island. Pierce & Garnett. Chris Paul's emergence has place him on my list. Carmelo, D-Wade, Larry Johnson, LeBron. I can go on for days. Antonio McDyess back when he was with Phoenix. Sean Elliot before he hit that big three over Rasheed Wallace over the Trail Blazers. Bonzi back with the Blazers. Kenny Anderson wit...

I have to go with Paul Pierce because of his having been stabbed back in 2001, and returning to the court sooner than expected. With the "curse" of the Celtics, the thought crept into the back of my mind that it may have been life-threatening at the time. It was most definitely a life-threatening experience for "the Truth." Not only did he survive, but he returned to the basketball court sooner...

PasardJay responded to a discussion called Do You Think Derrick Rose or Michael Beasley Is the Top NBA Draft Pick? in basketball.

Dam... I mean I concur with dude. It all depends what Chicago wants to do as far as filling their needs. I think if Beasley went to Miami he would help with the scoring along side Marion, and Wade. Wade can bring the ball up, although his legs could use some rest so that's the reason he is pulling for Rose in Miami, and Beasley in Chicago. I think both teams can't lose unless they trade away th...

I'm pulling for the Celtics, and they would have been down 2 games if they would've lost last night. As far as the Spurs they were just in this same spot last round versus the Hornets. I think they will take advantage of their home court once again to get back in this series. If not you can pull for Boston. I'm joking. I hope your Spurs do well.

The Celtics are aggressively taking it to the Lakers firing on all "Big 3" cylinders, and then some. The Celtics had a tougher road to the Finals than LA. I wish I had a chance to answer this question before Game 2 because now I, as all the ESPN analysts have the advantage of hindsight which of course is 50/50. If you listen to LAL after the first game, it was the rims. They actually may have a...

Celtics. Only time I ever pulled for the Spurs was back when they had Avery Johnson, Dennis Rodman, and David Robinson. I can't even remember who they were playing, but Avery Johnson had a career defining game. That was a playoff game that define him as player, and now as a coach. I hope LAL defeats them, and Boston handles their business to make for a nostalgic NBA Finals match-up. Although, t...
