RieRie started a new discussion called Has anyone ever got a refund from Herbal Inns? in questions & answers.
My partner bought a product a couple of weeks ago that didn't work, therefore was "not fit for purpose" which is one reason that your statutory rights allow a refund, no matter what the shops policies are. He went back the following day and asked for a replacement, they said they didn't have any in stock but to come back another day, so he did. He was told some story about the warehouse mov...

RieRie started a new discussion called The Golden Compass and Religion in questions & answers.
Apparently the Catholic Church didn't like The Golden Compass, but I'm wondering why? I can understand them not liking things like Life of Brian or The Da Vinci Code, because they actually mention religion, one mocking it and the other saying what if this happened instead, but I've watched Golden Compass and can't see what the problem is. So now it looks like the sequels aren't going to be mad...

I think they can send whatever they like, but if you dispute it, they have to check it's accuracy and they can't make you pay anything unless it's sorted out. If you have enough to pay it, pay it and then try and get your money back, if not don't worry, just call the company (there's got to be a phone number somewhere, even if you have to check online for it.) and give them your meter reading.

Hmm well I think it's the more focused caster, but I'm only basing it off things like Buffy. And it does depend how powerful the magic is.

RieRie responded to a discussion called The company inolved is CABOT FINANCIAL, helpful responses only please. in managed my finances.

If a company buys a debt, then that debt becomes unenforceable, however if the company goes bankrupt and someone takes over then the debt passes on to the people who have taken over. I had to look this up because I had a couple of letters from Lowell Group/Lowell Portfolio/RED (all the same company) then I saw Lowell Group on Watchdog, they buy old debts, most of which have already been cleared...

I normally would think how old the woman was when the man was 18 and decide it was disgusting. Because that's 12 years difference, so when the man was 18, the woman was only 6. But if the man was 60 and the woman was 72 it doesn't look as bad, even though the age difference is the same.

As you seem to be agreeing with me, yes. Straight to sleep.

Maybe time to contact Ofgen (think that's the one.) but you can only do that if you've done everything possible with the company first, then if Ofgen don't help it's Watchdogs turn, they've had problems with energy companies before.

Oh I see, I just saw them as a type of Government, not a religious order, just shows how little I let any kind of religion influence me, I thought it could have something to do with their souls being animals, but I really couldn't work it out. Thanks for the response:-)

Aha, well it looks like they bought bones too, I found a big article about it here:http://bygonederbyshire.co.uk/articles/Men_scraped_a_living_from_rags_and_bones
