I don't log on to mylot everyday and it's been a while since I've checked my own discussions. Usually when I post discussions, I get notified of responses and I give first priority to that....but sometimes I find that I am not aware of responses or comments. It is possible it got into the spam mail or maybe I was not notified. Such comments I view much later...maybe year/s later. I always reply...

Yes, there is a downtime in everyone's life and I also agree that each one handles it differently. I take it in my stride and most often than not discover a new self or a quality in me that I never even knew existed. I find that it is easy for me to re-bounce back to life and move along whatever happens. I can't really share my stories here but I believe that I have the strength to move on and...

I like to dress up even when I was a stay-at-home mom. Lots of people keep dropping in at home and I usually hate to be seen in lounging clothes. Having said that, there are certain days when I'm lazy and lounging clothes is what I wear. Trust someone to visit me on those days and comment on my clothes!!

I'm a clean freak and love a spotless place and that's hard to have with 2 homeschooling kids. My husband's the straight opposite and wouldn't mind living in a pigsty! We argue about it all the time. I need the place clean before I can do ANYTHING constructive and he cribs about me prioritizing the cleaning over the other things I SHOULD be doing. Luckily, I can afford to have help. She comes...

Why is having a washing machine a problem? How else are you expected to have clean clothes? I stay at an apartment in Banglore and there isn't anywhere that we can have a laundry line except in our balconies. I've heard some people complain that it doesn't look so good with clothes hanging out at each balcony...but there's no other choice since dryers are very expensive and there's just one fam...

Lol...I get swamped because I have notify on for all of them!!! I keep sorting through them and putting them in a folder since I'm not very regular on myLot anymore. Whenever I get the time, I go through them in bits and respond as I can.

Thinking logically, they didn't have time zones then. But obviously there were time zones (places to the east having their day earlier than the ones on the west). I'm sure the Mayans had some sort of calculation on that. I know for sure that most of the new concepts we rave about were written down many many years ago by Indian scientists and mathematicians. Just that it wasn't known to the worl...
