I believe that as spouses you have to share most of the things. If you try to be more private with some of your things, expect a sense of mistrust between you and your spouse or it will pain you when your spouse does likewise. Unless you clearly mark your line between privacy and non-privacy, there will always be confusion.

I dispute this very much. The best advisors are always ready to take advice from other people and this should not be a hard thing to swallow. It's about time we started reviewing our own attitude towards accepting advice from friends.

It's not just having a blog and a few articles. Some search engine will crawl on sites which are regularly updated. So you will have to post articles regulary to stand a chance of search engine crawlers to find your blog.
