Three days ago I couldn't get anything to come up on Firefox. Every icon I clicked on said 'Unable to connect'. I unintalled it and reinstalled it and it still wouldn't work. I uninstalled it again and left it for two days. I reinstalled it just now and it's the same thing. None of my icons will connect. Right now I'm having to use Explorer, which I don't like because it's slow as Christ...

It was CSI: Crime Scene Investigation - Episode 11.04: "Sqweegel" That was the creepiest episode I have ever seen. I haven't watched it much so they have made one where they caught the guy.

It took a little research but I found it. It was on CSI and called "Sqweegel". It was so creepy. I need to research and see if they had a follow-up and caught the guy.

Thanks for responding. I found something that let me take it back to a previous date and that brought it back.

I'm not computer smart. I tried different things and finally took it back to a previous date and that brought it back.

I've had that to happen in the past too. It wasn't the case this time. I have my suspicions that it was something my grandson did while doing homework. I finally found a button that let me take it back to a previous date before the problem started and now it's back.

The more I thought on it the more I'm convinced that my grandson did something. He was sitting here doing his homework the same evening it started. Every once and awhile little boxes will pop-up in the bottom corner asking if you want to do this, that or the other. I'll bet he clicked on something. Anyway, I'm pretty computer illiterate so I found an option that let me take it back to...

Why would it happen all of a sudden unless someone clicked on something previously? I suspect my grandson. I took it back to an earlier date and that fixed it.

Personally I think my grandson clicked on something. Little boxes will pop-up in the corner asking if you want to do certain things and I'll bet he clicked on one of them. Anyway, after fumbling around with the thing I found an option that let me take it back to a previous date and that took care of the problem.
