I am lucky that I get to travel more than most since I work in the travel industry but Australia takes a lot of vacation time and still costs a lot of money - even with my discounts.

I try to always do better than the previous month - but that does not always happen. I try to set long term goals in life but the downturn of the economy has changed all of those goals. Now I basically try to survive.

I usually start pulling out the boxes about this time and then slowly put some up each week. By the first week of December it should just about be done. We love Christmas and decorate every part of our house. It is our tradition.

Later I will shampoo the rugs. I like the house to be in top shape when people come over. Just how I was raised I guess.
