Has anyone else noticed their cats acting strangely now that the weather is turning cooler? That's a really cute picture! We have two male cats that have been fixed and they act like brothers, even though they aren't related. They sometimes sleep together and they like to play with each other.

That's pretty funny. Kids that age can say the cutest things. My 2 1/2 year old grandson didn't talk much for a long time, but he is beginning to talk a lot more now. He says some pretty funny things sometimes.

I agree with you that it was silly for them to arrest him for Driving While Impaired when he wasn't even driving. Although I'm certainly opposed to drunk driving, it seems that this man did the right thing by going to sleep instead of driving, and he should not have been convicted of DWI. I hope his lawyer appeals the case.

Thanks for your reply. I hadn't heard the term "cat weather" before but it is a good name for it. My 2 cats were certainly lazy all summer and spent most of their time sleeping. They didn't seem to like the hot weather very much.

My cats have a similar toy, but it has feathers on the end of the string. They LOVE it. They will chase it around until they are too tired to move and will beg to play with it. I have to keep it on top of the refrigerator so they can't get to it until I'm ready to play with them. They know where it is though and will meow and jump around when I walk to the refrigerator.

You are right that cats like to try to squeeze into small boxes and baskets that they can't really fit into. I don't understand why either. I have a couple of straw baskets for holding letters, bills, etc. I finally get all the papers filed and removed from the baskets one day and they cats decided that the baskets were perfect to use as beds and they have been sleeping in them ever since.
