 I'm not the biggest fan of social sites. I resisted myspaces, facebooks, taggeds etc for a long time, but in the end I had to agree to the fact that they are a great way to keep in touch with old friends, specially for people like me that are living far from the place where they grew up and, for that reason, far from old friends.

As for the situation, well it was only me, my son also touched the water - didn't have time to warn him - but he got nothing.
I don't know if the hot water would shock me as well because I only tried the cold. And our fridge does come equipped for icemaker, but we don't have that on, because we don't use it.

Hi twin dear. Hows gissi? ANd how have you been feeling lately? I have been quite away for the past month or so since school started.
We did get an electrician today but he found no reason for what happened. He says that every things seems fine.
We'll see.... if I get electrocuted then it\s because not everything was fine LOL

And things like your jeans.... turns out they were almost "free lunch" but not completely, since you did have to work for it anyways, which is the idea. We sure can get some things if we work for them which makes them not exactly free, but nice enough:)

Heinlen is one of my favorites too:)One of the best.Have most of all his books and re-read them every once in a while. One of my favorites is Job: A comedy of justice:)

It always costs someone something,but more often than not, it costs us something. That's the way it goes, and it works just as well for things that cost money to things that don't - a favor, a secret.... anything costs something, always.

Yes, I not only heard of that, but I have received something similar as well.
Since I never click on a link from messages as such, no matter how legitimate they look like, it didn't really pose much of a problem for me. I did inform paypal of what I had received, and like you I got confirmation that it was a phishing attempt.

| | What are interest rankings?  Interest Rankings are a way to measure how well myLot users are perceived by the community within a particular interest.
How can I view my interest rankings? Interest rankings can be viewed on your profile page. You can get to your profile page by clicking the link below your avatar on the left menu.
Once you are on your profile page, click on "my interest rankings" in the left menu.
If you have not already made changes to your profile page, you can also find your interest rankings in the right side of your profile page under the section titled "my interest rankings".
If you don't see the section on the right side of your profile, you can add it by following these steps: - Click on the "edit profile" button on the left menu.
- Click on "add content" in the upper right.
- Now in the first drop-down box, select "Sortie".
- In the second drop-down box, select "Interest Rankings".
- In the third drop-down box, select the container you want to add the Interest Rankings sortie to.
- Select the column within the container where you want it to display and click "add item".
- You should now see the newly added "my interest rankings" sortie.
Note that Interest Rankings will only show up on your profile if your responses to discussions have been ranked by other users.
What items are displayed on the "my interest rankings" sortie and what do they mean? On the "my interest rankings" sortie, beside each interest's avatar, you will see: - Level - This is a calculation based on your ranking for this interest compared to everyone else who is ranked in this interest. The more positive ratings your discussion responses receive from other users, the higher your level will be, compared to other users in this interest. The higher your level, the better.
- Rank - This is your rank within this interest out of everyone who is ranked in this interest. Your Interest Ranking Level depends on this Rank. The lower your rank, the better.
- Bar Graph - The bar graph is a graphical representation of your Rank compared to other users that are ranked for this interest.
The best way to increase your Interest Rankings is to contribute positively and often to discussions within a particular interest.
