When I was younger I was often bullied by my friends but I seldom cry in front of them. My father was a military so I was kinda raised to be not showy with the real emotions I am feeling in certain situations. The first time I saw my dad cry was when my mother died. That was also the first time I cried in front of so many people. I have learned since then that its ok to cry over things that hur... |
 | beadguru responded to a discussion called How many tv's in your house? in tv. 4 weeks ago
We used to have 5 TV's at home. Each room have television set on it. Hence, the TV in the family room is solely used when its time to watch our favorite show. Just recently due to the passing of a typhoon in our country, Philippines, 2 of our TV sets were broken. So right now, we only have 3. Its a good thing though that My husband and I get to keep the TV in our room. LOL. |

Well if they are really Badjaos what the local officials should do is to feed them and clothe them before sending them back to Mindanao. I have my own share of experience when it comes with these "badjaos". My cousin, who is a member of the Marine Corps was assigned in Mindanao for over a decade. He constantly mingled with the Badjaos in the area where he was assigned hence, he was able to spea... |

My husband was shocked more than me. And I gues... |

Most of my friends have their own families now, and some are working far from me. I don't see my friends often. It would take weeks/months, or maybe a year for some before I get to see them. However, whenever we have time, we do see each other. Most especially when one of us needs comfort because of some struggles in life, we always see to it that one of us is present to help or even just to gi... |
 | beadguru responded to a discussion called Pregnancy questions. 4 weeks ago The signs you've mentioned are really of a pregnant woman. But if you really wanted to be sure buying a pregnancy test kit would be the best for now, since you can't go the doctor yet. You have to know this early if your pregnant or not so that you can take necessary precautions to protect the baby inside your womb. I almost lost my second child because I didn't get to see my doctor until I ble... |

WOw!! what a woman. Yeah you should all be very proud of your mom, going back to school in an older age is really something. Talking about determination to achieve what you really wanted. I'm sorry to hear that soon thereafter she died. With the way you describe your mom, I can sense how much you have loved her and how she makes you proud, and you really should be, you really should be..
