You certainly did get lucky! I bet it was a big relief to find it safe and sound at home and not have to worry about it being in someone else's hands. I never put my cards in my pockets. They always go right back into my wallet. I do however, find money/paper and coins frequently while doing the family laundry. I can usually spot a phishing email from the bank/credit card companies so I know I've never fallen for them. I was even quite skeptical when I got the call about the charges. The stores I shop at have the card swipe machines on the counter where the customer swipes their own credit/debit cards so I doubt that anyone read the numbers and had a chance to write them down or commit them to memory because after I swipe the card it immediately goes back into my wallet where the numbers are hidden under a flap.
