Gosh I have read in the bathroom all my life. It is not just because I can not put the book down. Reading helps one relax . And of course you know that helps the machinery work better .

oh yuck I could not imagine only washing my blankets only twice a year. I sometimes wash mine once a month or more often.(Sheets get washed a minimum of once a week) If I have hot flashes then the sheets and blankets get sweaty, so I wash them. I have to especially wash the top blankets because we have pets. I wash the blankets on my spare room beds every time it gets a new occupant .

I read every day. It is as normal as breathing to me and part of my daily routine. My life would not be the same with out reading .Reading keeps your mind active, so even if you hate to read, read anyhow. It is a habit that can be cultivated. Just keep looking the genre that you like to read . Maybe it is cookbooks, or machines, or fantasy, or sci-fi . The list is unlimited.

ignore your son, glad you have the good sense to realize that is okay not to sleep in the same room .You have perfectly good reasons.Doesn't mean you can't cuddle etc etc, before your go down the hall to your own room . I am reading " A Light in the Window " by Jan Karon. It is the second in the Bestselling Mitford Series. Check for it in your local library. No I have not read The Count of Monte Cristo.

I confess I am not much good at dealing with the pain or hurt that I experience from comments or behaviors of my friends. I tend to get very depressed.My life can become very unproductive for long periods at a time simply because I try to find ways to dull the pain .No I don't drink or take drugs, but I do avoid life when this happens

Yes, sometimes it is our friends who hurt us the most. We always have to forgive . We become embittered and angry people if we don't forgive . Some friendships do turn toxic and it is then that we have to walk away, at least for a time.
