i just PMd diana to ask if hatley was sick again and she gave me the link to this discussion and i'm surprised that it's a week old. you're one of the very few mylotters whose notifications is on so either i accidentally deleted this or it never reached my inbox at all because hotmail is predictably erratic. i hope she'll be back soon because, as owlwings said, she has a very active mind ins...

if you still had the teddy bear, where would you keep it? in the closet, on the bed, by the window? would you take it with you when you travel or move? would you pass it on to your child (no matter how smelly and dirty and tattered it has become?) so what is his name? what is his color? what is he wearing? how's your action figure collection? did you add anything new?

binggaling responded to a discussion called DISCIPLINE, does it really neds to be provided by own parents? in relationships.
when my nephew and niece were small my brother wanted them to live here so they will learn discipline from me and our parents. i objected because it will reinforce the belief in the children's head that they cannot be controlled by their own parents. but whenever they visit, even if their parents are around, i don't hesitate to scold them and tell them that whatever is allowed in their house is...

it's like being a translator. you have to find simpler words and make analogies and comparisons. it's because you're a great mom, gg. we really appreciate what you and diana did. thanks.

i think knowing them is enough and if others prefer to stick to their kind nothing we can do about them. our family is among the older residents here and my mother and my aunt know a lot of families and their children. they'd say, didn't you go to school with... the son or daughter of... and i don't even know who they're talking about.

that's can be a good thing, too, because the business-owner gets to talk to a lot of people in that area. so if you need a service of some kind, she might know someone or where you can go for it based on her chats with her customers.

i'm so glad you have helpful and generous neighbors. respecting each other's space is important but you can still have pleasant conversations instead of dreading who you bump into when you're out, right? it's good to be updated about other stuff that's useful to know.

to me it's always a surprise when i get a BR because i usually forget what i wrote. those who join discussions aiming for a BR, or backing out because a BR was already awarded, or feel bad that they received very few BRs are only put unnecessary pressure on themselves. i say just share and always be sincere about it.

binggaling commented in a discussion called where's my teddy bear? in life.

2. yes, it would go wherever i go. i'll even declare it carry on luggage if i had to. --it's check-in luggage, then. it wouldn't look appropriate on your lap in business class, all smelly and dirty. [em]feelingsick[/em] 4. it was a her, and her name was teddy. hence my affinity to teddy's now that i've grown up a little bit --are you attracted to people named teddy? [em]lol[...
