You can't ad google adsense or any other advertising at wordpress.com however if you have a long standing blog that you would would be interested in making money on still using the wordpress format you should send me a message. We are looking to add another dozen blogs to the network in july.

it is against google TOS to post how much you earn with how many impressions and clicks, but suffice it to say if you use well placed ads, the max alottment positioned in the right places and properly SEO your blog you can make a couple of dollars a day pretty easily on just a few clicks. iuf you don't understand or have misgivings about a site don't sign up for it. Users beware... complain all you want about the underhanded tactics of some sites but if you didn't understand what you were getting into it is on you. blogger templates are easy enough to make and give you far more options than you can get with wordpress.com On the other hand hosting your own wordpress blog with your own advertising provides even more options.
