burgundy1 The island I lived on is 36 sq miles.Really tiny.I now live in Corpus Christi Texas.

I am a fairly new correctional officer.I've seen some things that are making me want to work in a different division of the jail.Please post your experiences.

burgundy1 I am in the jail division I usually work inthe housing units.I think I may want to go to administration , probations or parole.The worst part is my coworkers.Its like being hazed.There is also a rumor mill thats pretty annoying and rank doesn't do anything to...

I know that I am depressed and I am overweight but when I feel depressed I eat and sleep alot and I isolate myself and they say that it's good to talk to people about it but do you feel like it helps you or do you dwell on it? I...

burgundy1 I agree with you.Having a good cry helps you release the things that are bothering you.Preferably you may want to have a shoulder to cry on...........someone there to comfort you.Sometimes that helps.You may need to go to the doctor to have your hormones...

burgundy1 Out with the old and in with the new.i usually get rid of my clothes that i don't wear anymore and give them to a homeless shelter.I try to reorganize outstnding bills or pay them off, clean house so that when the new year comes in all of my old stuff is gone...
