He's a carriage style perch so that means he's over 17 hands. It has to do with the length of the cannon bone. Shorter cannon bones are stronger and made for pulling... No one could handle him and his original owner didn't want to take the time to find him a new buddy after his stopped drinking and died of heat exhaustion.
