I had the part of the maid. Thinking back on it I can't really remember how the plat played out, except that two men were trading places. My kids read the play in their English class a few years ago. For some workers there are safety concerns that require closed toed shoes. Other people may have more freedom in wearing the type of shoe they like most. I work in an alteration shope and do not have a dress code. But I prefer to wear closed toed shoes just in case I were to drop the scissors.
