I have a friend who is in the process of getting divorced after a 2 month marriage. (Yes, two months). She is in her 30's and is desperate to have children, so she married a man that treated her horribly. They even fought during the honeymoon.
I think a lot of people aren't honest with themselves about why they are getting married or getting involved with someone who is not right for them. ... |

I do type like I talk, but I am more reserved than most. Even when I'm on MyLot, I proofread my responses. I don't worry about it so much when I'm chatting on Facebook, but perhaps I should. LOL.
Bottom line, everything we write is out there for everyone to see, so we have to be careful what we say! |

I would tell the other guy that you are happy in a relationship and can't talk to him anymore, then block his emails. And yes, I would tell your boyfriend that he contacted you but tell him you won't be talking to him anymore.
Ask yourself if you are at all interested in the guy from your past, and what you would gain or lose by going backwards. |

I agree, it's not wise to get married after just 2 months. That is not the case with my friend--she dated this guy for a year+ before they got married, and knew him before then. The marriage only lasted a month until he moved out, and another until she filed for divorce. So it's not the length of courtship that played a role in this case. |

| I've heard that wearing a white dress to a wedding is a no-no, as the bride wears white. But what about the rehearsal dinner? Is it okay, as a guest, to wear a white dress to the rehearsal dinner? | |

| I just quit my job, and am actually feeling quite happy about it. If you were in my shoes, what's the first thing you would do? How would you celebrate? (Or would you celebrate at all?) | |
