 Have you tried The Body Shop's exfoliating towel? That's what I use. Just have to foam/lather it up quite well otherwise it can hurt. I don't use it everyday though, just thrice a week, max. Used to have the glove-thingy but it doesn't dry as quickly like mesh does.

Hello. I suggest you get both. Use the eye glasses at home, and wear contact lenses for going out (when your glasses don't go well with your outfit - LOL). Seriously, eye glasses are a must-have and there's no question about whether or not you need to get them. Contact lenses are optional (as you already expressed) because a pair only lasts for what - a few months?
