Well you treat them like they are a lier. You don't trust them or believe anything they tell you. Now if you are trying to create some kind of relationship with this person. Forget it. People like that do not change and if they did it would not be for the better. They lie so much they actually believe it themselves. When they get to that point it's lock up the valuables and stay clear.

Been there and done that. You should try it with 5 boys and a girl. I'm afraid we did the best we could but the kids got what we could afford and we did not try to stay up with the Joneses. If they want something special which is not a necessity they would buy it themselves out of their allowances. If it costs more than they make I run them a tab until they pay it off. You are absolutely correct with this one. I have been fortunate that I have never reached the unability for forgive. When It gets hard sometimes I just remember all I have done that required forgiveness and it usually comes a little easier. I think your husband should be commended. Thant he thinks enough of his father to complete his last wish even after all these years is extraordinary to say the least. I agree 100%. I have yet to see two small children playing who have any kind of hatred or prejudice because of color or race. They just have one thing in common, having fun and enjoying themselves. If only we as adults could practice that same theme. We would also have happiness and enjoy our life.
