When barefoot, does it bother you that your soles are getting dirty?

I love to go barefoot in the summertime, but if the ground is dirty, I'd just as soon wear my flipflops. If I'm not in proximity to a watersource, where my poor, tired, dirty soles, I get very antsy....

I never knew just how different an experience driving barefoot could be until I tried it. So used to the cushion of my shoe, I had to relearn how much pressure to apply to the gas and break pedals....
