I was named after my great grandfather. Or, so my family thought. I was 3.5 months old when he passed away & that was when everyone found out that he lied about his middle name. It was really Stanley not Samuel like he told everyone. I'm grateful that he lied, I like Samantha better than Stella anyways! ;-)

I would not force my husband to go see a movie that he has ZERO interest in seeing, just like he would not force me to go see a movie that I have ZERO interest in. If it was a movie he would be interested in, I'd ask him to go. But, I'm not going to waste the $$$ on a movie ticket AND a babysitter just for something that we BOTH won't enjoy! the problem is that it's being used as a fund raiser. You're not making any funds if you buy fruit at the store to sell it at a stand. People will just buy their own fruit from the store instead.

Exactly my point! The school budgets are bad enough! Now, they're taking away one of the most successful ways of raising the money to help the school out!

Fast food is definitely the cause of obesity... that, and parents being lazy and allowing it to happen. LOL... hopefully they raid Dunkin Donuts before Krispy Kreme! Krispy Kreme is healthier than Dunkin Donuts LOL... not by much, but it's still fewer calories... ;-)

I LOVE the smell of a new book. The crisp pages being held between your fingers! To walk into a bookstore like Barnes & Noble or Borders with their coffee shop attached is HEAVEN!

Nope... he really just didn't like it. My mother is the same way. Her middle name is Stella & she tells everyone it's Sue. I have a copy of her birth certificate so she can't lie to me ;-)
