BUT there are toys for horses now that help with this. Any toy or licking item will entertain them and make them happier. There are balls and salt licks and licking toys that will serve the purpose. I just have to walk away, I can't stand it. Why do people have to do that? The sad part about this is, it is becoming the norm rather than the exception and this is what our young, impressive children are seeing and hearing. Please help me spread the word that the young need good examples not bad ones.

I really don't think it will harm the cats as it evaporates quite quickly. You may have to do several applications and wait a bit between each one.
