hornswaggled responded to a discussion called The symptoms of Colon Cancer! in health.

One of the best ways I've seen to have a healthy colon is to make sure it's clean. And that does not mean harsh laxatives or remedies that are hard on the body but with a good diet high in leafy vegetables and fruits with lots of fiber. Also it's really important to have a good pH balance in the body as well. This will promote good absorption of nutrients in the body so it will not let food sit...

It sounds to me like you may be experiencing a pH problem. Things that can cause that are sugary foods and drinks; especially soda's which are really hard on the system and can make you over acid quickly; and too many carbs. I would recommend a diet high in dark green, leafy vegetables; as much as you can eat. And drinking something like alkaline water or chlorophyll is a great way to get ahea...

Lisa, I have to disagree with those here that think you need a flu shot because of the asthma thing. I won't go into whether the diagnosis was correct but as an herbalist and someone that was diagnosed with asthma over 22 yrs ago I have to say there are much better ways to protect yourself than with this dangerous vaccine. I want you to look at the links I'm giving you on how the shot does n...

hornswaggled commented in a discussion called what do you mean by alternative medicine? in health.

I'm sorry Bin but I have to disagree with you on the effective rate of traditional medicine. I find that herbs do a much better; more effective way of healing than Rx drugs or over the counter meds do. The fact that sometimes you get more relief quick is not an indicator of a healed body but rather a deadening of the nerve response to something wrong with the body such as pain. That is where ...

Can you please clarify "skin asthma" is? Thanks!

Oh....I've never heard it called that before. My son has that and it's treated the same way that the asthma is; with herbs to heal the stomach and in the skin condition; the liver. Liver soothing herbs are widely available at any health food store.
