I don't be knowing what the standard of education is where you live, but in my home country, the standards for English classes do be not very high (understatement!). I did be learning more from books than from school. I mention this because I do be wishing to point out that perhaps there do also be a problem ... | | inedible responded to a discussion called I Know Someone That Falls For The Adult Pop Ups in internet. 1 month ago I live in Asia and those ads tend to show a bunch of white people. (Protip: Asian countries tend to not be 100% white.) So no, I've never fallen for them and I sure as hells don't think anyone I know would ever fall for those. :3
Which is a bit sad, really, since I would LOVE to have a chance to laugh at someone dumb enough to believe those. | | inedible responded to a discussion called k e diet in eating. 1 month ago Like the guy above said, it involved sticking a feeding tube up one's nose. I hear it's effective, but results in tiredness. 'Twas mentioned in today's newspaper. | | inedible responded to a discussion called How to avoid getting internet viruses? in internet. 1 month ago I use Avast, which is free. They have a Webrep thing that's supposed to show you how trusted websites are when you Google stuff.
Other things to do:
1. Don't download toolbars or screensavers that have installers.
2. Don't download games/programs from sources that you don't trust.
3. Don't open .exe files that are obviously viruses (too small filesizes are an clue).
| | inedible responded to a discussion called One logical reason why sins are increasing in religion. 1 month ago Sins or sins per person? Since the world population is increasing, even if the number of sins committed by each person stays the same, the total number of sins would still go up, yes? Maybe that's part of why we hear more bad news: it's simply that higher total population also means higher criminal population.
(FYI, the fruits in heaven are hallucinogenic. They're better entertainment that TV.) | | inedible responded to a discussion called Why mylot is not as popular as Facebook? in mylot.com. 1 month ago Both sites are different. The previous posters already mentioned the social networking thing and the fact that Facebake isn't a discussion site, so I won't repeat that. But there are other differences too.
Facebook has apps. If myLot has them, I haven't yet found the feature. As far as I know, myLot doesn't encourage us to spam our 'friends' with links, invites, and Farmdale posts, which is ... | | inedible responded to a discussion called psychopathic music in listening to music. 1 month ago Haven't had the opportunity to listen to their songs before. I just Googled some of them after seeing your post. Apart from the make-up, aren't they just regular rappers? Is there a particular song that makes you consider them psycopathic? | | | | | |
