inedible responded to a discussion called Decline of Reading--Decline of Quality of Writing in reading.

Ironically, it do appear that some typographical errors do be present in your post. I don't be knowing what the standard of education is where you live, but in my home country, the standards for English classes do be not very high (understatement!). I did be learning more from books than from school. I mention this because I do be wishing to point out that perhaps there do also be a problem ...

inedible responded to a discussion called Can you play any musical instruments? in listening to music.

I can play the air piano. Also, actual pianos. At least, I used to be able to. Haven't touched a piano in half of forever. I very much prefer listening to music rather than actually playing it.

I live in Asia and those ads tend to show a bunch of white people. (Protip: Asian countries tend to not be 100% white.) So no, I've never fallen for them and I sure as hells don't think anyone I know would ever fall for those. :3 Which is a bit sad, really, since I would LOVE to have a chance to laugh at someone dumb enough to believe those.

Like the guy above said, it involved sticking a feeding tube up one's nose. I hear it's effective, but results in tiredness. 'Twas mentioned in today's newspaper.

inedible responded to a discussion called How to avoid getting internet viruses? in internet.

I use Avast, which is free. They have a Webrep thing that's supposed to show you how trusted websites are when you Google stuff. Other things to do: 1. Don't download toolbars or screensavers that have installers. 2. Don't download games/programs from sources that you don't trust. 3. Don't open .exe files that are obviously viruses (too small filesizes are an clue).

inedible responded to a discussion called One logical reason why sins are increasing in religion.
Sins or sins per person? Since the world population is increasing, even if the number of sins committed by each person stays the same, the total number of sins would still go up, yes? Maybe that's part of why we hear more bad news: it's simply that higher total population also means higher criminal population. (FYI, the fruits in heaven are hallucinogenic. They're better entertainment that TV.)

inedible responded to a discussion called Why mylot is not as popular as Facebook? in mylot.com.
Both sites are different. The previous posters already mentioned the social networking thing and the fact that Facebake isn't a discussion site, so I won't repeat that. But there are other differences too. Facebook has apps. If myLot has them, I haven't yet found the feature. As far as I know, myLot doesn't encourage us to spam our 'friends' with links, invites, and Farmdale posts, which is ...

inedible responded to a discussion called psychopathic music in listening to music.

Haven't had the opportunity to listen to their songs before. I just Googled some of them after seeing your post. Apart from the make-up, aren't they just regular rappers? Is there a particular song that makes you consider them psycopathic?

...Now that I stop to think about it, why do they show only white people? Are Caucasians the only people who click ads?

I do not see what you did not do there. I wonder though. D'you think they'd do that for, maybe, breast cancer awareness week or something?

Anyone know what can cause a computer to stop detecting headphones?

I'm having this problem now. I have a Dell machine running Windows 7 64-bit. Sometimes, it fails to detect my headphones and plays sound through the in-built speakers instead. Strangely, when I test...

Feeling somewhat out of place here...

I've always wondered how people could find enough interesting topics that they actually feel like replying to, to get to 10k+ posts, when I find only one or two truly interesting topics per week......

Did you know that water doesn't prevent dehydration?

http://www.zmescience.com/research/studies/water-does-not-prevent-dehydration-3214133/

So I read something odd in the news today. Apparently, drinking water doesn't help prevent a lack of water in...

An account two years old still counts as new, eh?

So I go to the "discussions" drop-down list. I go to the "new user" option, which I thought was supposed to show me posts made by newly-created accounts.
I click on a topic by a user with only one...

Has anyone else ever clicked on a myLot discussion link from Google search?

I just did while Googling for an answer to something.

The page spawned this overlay greeting me (a Google user!) and asking me to sign up on myLot, even though I was already logged in (and even...
