It is apparently a time period of 26000 years that ends that year (although even this is debatable}. So why did nothing occur at the end of any of the hundreds or thousands of other previous time periods? It is simply the moving into the age of aquarius. As you say theres a few billions years left yet. Dont wait up!

All the basic tenets of christianity have been taken from earlier beliefs. The earliest christian texts, so therefore the most reliable, do not say that mary was a virgin and do not have any reference that Jesus was ever seen as reserrected.

As even the church leaders know that much of the bible is myth and fable, what is the value of bible study? Wouldnt i at least be helpful and enlightening to have a non-believer there as well?
