What is your favorite "gadget"? For me it's my GPS.

I can go anywhere without having to worry about getting lost and it will always take me home again!

Do you go grocery shopping with a list or do you just "wing it" when you get

to the store? I guess that depends on if you cook from scratch or use recipes. I hardly see anyone in the store with a list anymore, but if I didn't have one I'd end up with $200 worth of things I...

Do you have any of those wireless solar lights?

Here's something we did with ours... We planted flowers in large pots, then put in a solar light stick in the center of each. A grouping of these gives some nice ambience to your patio or deck. They...

Has anyone read "Charm" by Kendall Hart?

I ran out of pancake syrup this morning...

I looked online though and found a homemade version that was just as good. It's brown sugar, white sugar and water boiled together, then you add corn syrup, vanilla and maple flavoring. Very easy....

I want to plant something in a large pot, perhaps supported by a metal trellis

Has anyone read Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen?

Someone recommended it to me and I really enjoyed it. It's fiction and about the lives of circus workers during the Depression.

Does anyone have an opinion on using Turbo Tax for their taxes? We tried it

this year instead of having our taxes done for us professionally and were very pleased with how easy it was and we saved a LOT of money on preparation fees. Any other good software you are using?
