When it comes to the electric cars. I wonder just where do you plug them in at? I most certaintly do not want to run my electric bill up anymore than it is. I just can't see how it is even practical. If you did have a place to plug them in at when on the road, are you charged by the wattage? I am so confused on this one. I have also been hearing about the excellent gas mileas on the New Prius a...

I always hold the door open for someone else. I believe it is just plain good manners. My son has actually gotton out of the car and opened a door for an elderly person whom is struggling to get it open. It is nice that people still help others in this way.

I can remember one time when I was washing dishes for an elderly lady next door and all of a sudden I felt a sting on my leg. I looked down and there was not one but 9 yellow jackets not only on the outside of my pants but under them as well. I started brushing them off and was stung several more times. They even went inside my shirt. When we looked under the sink there was a whole hive of them...

Stranger in your House

Two years ago around midnight I was awakened by a strange voice. I looked at the bedroom doorway and could see someone standing there. I thought it was my husband and asked him what he said. The man...

Super flu

A few weeks ago my family came down with this awful virus that I can only describe as a Super Flu. High fever, respitory infection and horrible cough. I have never experienced anything quite so...

This has been the strangest winter

I do not believe that I have ever seen such a strange winter as I have seen this year. No snow in November. Three inches in December that melted in 3 days. Three inches in January that melted in 3...

Future of Hybrid and Electric Cars

I have been seeing several articles about the hybrid and electric cars, lately.

One item that I have found interesting is that only 30% of the poeple who currently own one will say that they will...

I'm Afraid Of Wasps Because I Respect Them

There is not much on this earth that frightens me. But one thing that does is wasps. More specifically, the yellow jacket. I've been stung once by a bee when I was a child and I remember the pain...

I am very thankful for those people ahead of me that hold the door for me. Most people in North America have this courtesy. I believe doing so helps the next person to enter the door exert less...
