He's right to the extent that the Republicans, like the Democrats, are controlled by special interests. The New York congressional race is not on point. The financial conglemerates and elites control both politial parties and rule no matter what party is in power. I'm referring to big business, the public sector unions, the sports and media conglomerates, etc. We can get no meaningful immigrati... |
 | lawdude responded to a discussion called Why do men like to watch sports more than women? in people. 2 months ago
I think it's because men are more aggressive and into sports more than women. That's not to demean women as athletes. Women can be well-toned and as athletic as men and great athletes. Men, however, by nature are stronger and have more endurance. But on a percentage basis, more men are interested in sports than women. |

But even with government stimulus, it will probably be years before the private economy comes back and employment goes up. |

There are sufficient restrictions to limit exposure to smoke and carcingens from tobacco smoke. Nobody can guarantee a perfect world free from toxins and carcinogens or even pathogens which are part of our environment. Life expectancy is inc... |
 | lawdude responded to a discussion called Bisexuality, choice or born? in love. 7 hours ago
I don't think anybody knows. It's like the age-old question about homosexuality - nature or nurture? From what I know, it is not unheard-of for straight people to have homosexual experiences. There seems to be different levels of sexuality from total heterosexuality to total homosexuality. Just my take on the subject. |
