Now that we are heading for Autumn, many of us are preparing to decorate our homes for the holidays. Many have already started getting ready for Halloween which is just a few weeks away. Lots of stuff is available at the craft stores for Halloween but I have noticed not so much is there for Thanksgiving. It seems there is very little out there in the way of this very important American holiday....

I have been going to the library for all my research since I was in high school. Now more than ever, it is the place to go to for not only crafting books but crafting DVDS! Ours has a DVD collection that features a lot of how-to disks for us crafting on topics such as scrapbooking, knitting, kid's crafts and quilting. I have the store-bought multicolored leaves, turkeys and candles. I decorate a simple wreath and diningroom table. Nothing special as I don't see a lot in the stores. This is why I posted in MyLot for some ideas. I live in the desert here in Arizona and so leaves are rare. We have some pine trees at the local park but that's about it. Thanks for your suggestions!
