Personally I think this was a publicity stunt on Obama's part. If he wanted to pay his respects to the fallen soliders and their families he could have done it without all the cameras and the "oh look at me, look at me, look what I am doing, aren't I great" thing.
Our fallen should not be used as a "photo op" or "publicy stunt" by anyone. They deserve more dignity and respect than that. |

I wish I could go.....but I can't afford to go washington. I have already called my congressman. Neither Graham or Demint are going to vote for it. But then I did not think either of them would have voted for it. Even if I had not called them. They are against this bill. They are not against healthcare overhaul....but they are against this bill.

In the ballot box people make up their own minds for their own reasons. They don't have to justify their choice to anyone. THey could vote for a candidate because they think he has nice hair....is that wise? No. But people are allowed to make up their mind however they want on who they want to vote for.

by the way....I am not a fan of Liz Cheney. I don't think she has class or much else to tell you the truth. And she saw an opportunity to attack Obama and she used it. Both ar wrong. Obama should not have done it so publicly....Liz should stop being a petty b*tch.

I hope the people who go don't just show up and protest for a few hours and then go home. They should stay...stay until congress starts seeing things more clearly and realizes that the american people are fed up and not going to take it anymore.
A few hundred thousand people sitting at the capial buidling for a few weeks and bringing things to a stand still might make them stop and listen.

Well Reid calls making sure our President is legally qualified a "false issue". Heck I would think it was a hugely important issue to make sure not only the presidnet but all of our elected officials meet the legal requirements for the job.
Those laws are in place for a reason. But once again.....some people tend to ignore laws and rules they don't like or are inconvient.
