ABC is far worse, but I also thought[i]Earl[/i] was doing well - I know it was at one point. It even went into syndication; some cable channel was showing it during the day at one point. I also heard it might be moving to another network, but nothing else has been said yet.

[i]Earl[/i] is completely dead... TBS tried to save it at the last minute, but could not afford to do so. They said the only budget they could afford would have negatively affected the quality of the show and they did not want to do that.

Grade school and basics aside, in order to write, you need one major affliction: a bad case of butt-to-seat -itis! I know a lot of people who would probably make good writers, they just lack the discipline.
