Someone stated under one of my poems that poetry is a non discussion post. I feel it is since we read and discuss poetry in schools. I would love to get other peoples opinion on if you think it is a Discussion or Non Discussion. Don't forget to say why you feel this way.. Thanks!!!

The easiest way to do this is by putting a copy of your poem in an envelope. Make sure you write the title of the poem on the envelope and then mail it to yourself. Rememeber not to open the envelope. Then if you ever need to prove in court that the poem is yours, you will have all the proof you need.

To get a text message or an email and the only thing in it is good morning. I think after a few of those I would get aggravated. I think it is a waste of time. If I see you, talk to you on the phone, or have something else to say to them, then saying good morning is a nice gesture.

My family is very important to me and I definately will put my daughter above anyone else. I think it is like anything else, you have to find a happy balance. If you don't put the love and needs of your family first, then love of country gets wasted. It is what makes a country great, is to know you are there for each other.

It was a great story and she did a really good job pulling you into it. That is why she has so many fans and the movies sold out. Anyone who says something bad about it that hasn't picked up the book, should keep quiet. I can't stand it when people don't like something and they bash it. I just want to tell them to put their attention into what they do like.

I have been on mylot for over a year and I have not yet had any of my poems removed. I do not feel you can put poetry in the same catagory with jokes and receipes. Poems are very much meant for discussion. This is why we read poems in schools and discuss the meanings of them.

The discussion comes in on people telling you what they think the poem is saying, what it means to them, the feelings they felt when they read it, the memories that it made them remember, etc. Does a person really need to spell out those questions after every poem that is posted. Am I wrong to think that everyone is smart enough to know those are the questions you are asking when you post a poe...

If your spouse will get jealous over someone your talking to online, then either your doing something wrong or you have the wrong spouse. Life is to short to be jealous or be with someone who is overly jealous!!
