mistissa responded to a discussion called Are you proud with your dad? in people.
I am proud of my father no matter what, just because he is my dad haha. Unfortunately he passed away 5 years ago, and I do miss him very much. Especially on days like fathers say. But this year my sons birthday is on fathersday, so it makes it a little special for me.

mistissa responded to a discussion called recipe for fondant in cooking.
I have tried the ready use fondants by wilton but I don't really like the taste of it. I started making my own fondant and I got the recipe from a Dutch cake site since I live in The Netherlands. I can translate it for you and it is easy to make and very cheap. It is called marshmallow fondant, and you can use it to decorate and also to cover your cake. You take one mug and stuff as many marshm...

mistissa responded to a discussion called How many times have you done this? in financial independence.
Hi there, ofcourse things like this can happen. But it does not happen to us anymore. I keep a close eye on alle the expenses and costs we make, because we don't have money to spend on luxury, every penny counts here. And my husband should never be left in charge of the money haha. I am the one who does all the balancing and money stuff. As long as I keep everything going, my husband is fine wi...

mistissa responded to a discussion called I am drowning in debt in get out of debt.
I am sorry to hear that you are so much in debt. But this problem is not only in the US here in The Netherlands it is the same. There are so many people in debt and banks are having a ball giving everyone loans against extremely high interest rates. Meanwhile all the prices keep going up, even on simple things like milk and patatoes. Sometimes I quickly get all of my salary from the bank after ...

mistissa responded to a discussion called after breaking up,what will you do? in had my heart broken.
If I would break up I would go out and try to find a new house for me and my kids. I would then try go get more hours to work so I can provide for them. I would go to my mum and cry, I would have to get a moving truck to get all my stuff out of the house. Go to the bank to take out all my money and cancel our joint accounts. If I was going to break up there are so many things that need to be ar...

mistissa responded to a discussion called Love money?? in make extra money.
I have different prioritiess then you, I would always put my chidlren before luxuries. First the food to provide for the family not just for myself. I rarely buy any luxury items for myself. My kids always come first, I make sure they are well dressed and have everything they need, then comes myself. Probably it is because I am a mother, but my children are number one ofcourse.

mistissa responded to a discussion called How many hours you sleep in a day? in sleeping.
Hi there, I get about 5 hours sleep at night. I am fortunate that I can do without sleep very good. But when I sleep less thatn 5 hours I do get headaches too. But the reason I don't get much sleep is because my children are troublesome sleepers, they have trouble sleeping at night. So I am always busy with them at night too. I wish I could get a good nights rest once in a while, maybe when the...

mistissa responded to a discussion called how much do you love your children? in had children.
I can really relate to what you have written. I have 3 children myself and they are my everything too. I cannot do without them, they are my whole reason for being. If I did not have them I would not even take the effort to get out of bed each morning. It is because of them that I always keep going strong. I want to give them everything I never had when I was a child, and hope they grow up to b...

mistissa responded to a discussion called Earning money online from home. Is it possible? What do you think? in make extra money.
I am a work at home mother and make money online too. I have tried several ptc sites and survey sites etc. Mylot is a good one because they really pay, however it does take time to reach payout. I have also tried earning some money with google adsense, I make about $20 a month, ok it is not much but everything helps ofcourse. Further I work as a chat operator, I have found that this is the best...

mistissa responded to a discussion called How do you see your self 5 years from now?^_^ in life.
That sounds like a great idea for your future. To be completely honest I have no idea what I will be doing in 5 years from now. Same way like it is now, I am a mother of 3 children and I am living together with my boyfriend and father of the kids. However if someone would have told me 10 years ago I would be a mother of 3 I would have laughed in their faces. My point is that in my case I don't ...

what object is special to you and why?

I am very fond of my pendant, I wear it around my neck, it is very special to me because some of my dad's ashes are inside. It is a golden heart shaped pendant. Do you have an item which has...

what turns you off?

I just started a discussion about what your turn on is. But I also wonder, what kind of thing really turns you off. The biggest turn off for me is, if a guy is very smelly, or farts the whole time...
