England v USA was a friendly - qulaifying for 2010 starts at the end of summer although depends on which part of the world you are in. England for example starts in Sept, whilst USA I believe start in July time

Personally like the longer format of the game as much as one day or 20/20 it is a different challenge that the players face. I think that it probably takes more true skill to succeed in the longer format, whereas the shorter versions rely on a bit of luck
