When I try to upload a photo, it says I have reached my limit, why?

  • To fight abuse this feature has been implemented in myLot. Please try to upload pictures again tomorrow.


When can I add photos?

  • Only users with a rating over 500 will be allowed to upload photos into comments and responses.


How do I upload an image in my discussion?

  • To upload an image in your discussion, start a new discussion.

  • Once you have completed entering the details of your discussion, click on "add an image" located at the bottom left of the page.

  • Upload your photo that relates to your topic, give your photo a subject name, and give some details about your photo.

  • Next add tags to your photo.

  • Once this is complete, click "upload your photo" and continue with the discussion process.


Can I delete the images that I have uploaded?

  • Yes and no, you can only delete photos on your profile page.


I am having problems with my images, what can I do to fix the problem?

  • First, make sure the image you are attempting to upload is in a common format such as .gif or .jpg.

  • Next, make sure the filename is simple and short with no spaces or funny characters.

  • Next, make sure the file is less than 5mb. We do not allow images over 5mb.

  • After you upload the file, we compress the file further to a max of 256k. If the compression fails, the upload fails completely.

  • If none of these tips help, it's possible that the image is corrupted.
