FAQs - Friends back to FAQ index How do I add friends? You can add friends in myLot one of two ways. You can either go to the user's profile page and click "add as a friend" located under their avatar; or You can click on "invite new friends" located at the bottom left of your page, and enter the username of the friend you would like to add in the box "myLot username" located at the bottom of the page. Click "send friend request". Once the user approves you as a friend, you have successfully added your friend. Remember if you refer any users, they will automatically be added as a friend. How do I approve or deny new friends? When another myLot user requests to be added to your friends list, you can either approve or deny their request. Simply click on the "friends" tab located at the top of your page. Go the each myLot friend that has requested you as a friend and click on "approve" or "deny". Your approved friends will show up in your friends section. What do I do with my pending friend requests? When you submit a friend request to a myLot member, that member will appear in your "my pending friend requests" section until he or she either approves or denies your friend request. To generate a friend request, simply click on "create new friend request" on the left side of your page, and enter the information and click "send friend request". How do I remove a friend from my list? I would like to be notified when my friends start a discussion, how can I do that? Simply click on the "friends" tab located at the top of your homepage. Go the each myLot friend that you want notifications from and make sure "notify is on" is being displayed to the right of the user. Your email address must be verified first before completing this task. If it shows "notify is off", simply click on this and it will show "notify is on". If you would like the notification off, make sure "notify is off" is being displayed.
