How do I add an avatar?
To add an avatar, click here and click on "customize your profile". Click "Browse" and select your preferred avatar. Click "update" and your avatar will appear under "current avatar".
How do I delete my current avatar?
To delete an avatar, click here and click on "customize your profile". To delete your current avatar, click "delete current avatar". Once this is checked, click "update". This will delete your current avatar and you can add a new avatar.
Can I display my personal website on myLot?
Yes, you can link users to your personal website in your profile page only. Adult content links and scripts that auto redirect a user are against myLot guidelines and will not be allowed. Click on "customize your profile" on the left. Find an existing HTML sortie or create a new one and click on "edit". Enter the website URL in HTML format in the HTML sortie. The HTML to do this is <a href="http://www.myLot.com">www.myLot.com</a>. In this example, “http://www.myLot.com” is where you want the link to take the users and www.mylot.com is the text you want displayed to other users in the HTML sortie. Once you have entered the information above, click on “close edit” in the HTML sortie box. This is important and the change will not save if you do not click on “close edit”. Then click on the “View profile” box on the left. Please remember that it is against our terms and guidelines to post this information in discussions and responses. Please keep this information on your profile page only.
How can I view Mature Content in discussions?
To view Mature Content in discussions click here. You will be given the opportunity to view mature content at the bottom of the page. Go to the "Allow mature content" box and make sure it is checked. Once the box is checked, click "update". You will then be able to view all discussions with mature content.
How do I turn the discussion notifications on/off when someone responds to my discussions?
To turn on/off discussion notifications click here. You will be given the opportunity to change discussion notifications at the bottom of the page. Once you have made your selection, click "update".
How do I change my email address?
To change your email address click here. You will be given the opportunity to change your email address in the middle of the page. Once you have changed your email address, confirm it, and click "update". You must re-verify your email address. This will ensure the changes are saved in our system.
Can I change my username?
myLot does not allow users to change their usernames. Please be sure when you create your account that the username you pick is one that you want. Be careful not to make your username similar to your email address or password for security reasons.
Can I change my password?
You can change your password at anytime. To change your password click here. You will be given the opportunity to change your password in the middle of the page. Enter your new password in the "New Password" box and confirm it. Click "update" and this information will be saved in our system.
Can I block users from seeing what City and/or State I live in?
Yes, you can block myLot users from seeing what City and/or State you live in. Click here and click on "customize your profile". You will be given the opportunity to block users from viewing what city and/or state you live in at the bottom of the page. Make sure the "Allow visitors to view my city and/or state on my profile page" is unchecked if you do not want users to see where you live. Click "update" and this information will be blocked from other users to view.
