I would rather believe there is a God and find out there is no God, than not believe in God and find out there is a God!

pattiurlvd commented in a discussion called what the heck is purgatory? in christianity.

Actually a form of it was mentioned in the Bible. When Christ died on the cross it was recorded that the earth opened up and released the souls of the ancient saints, ie: Moses, Abraham, etc. The souls of the ancient saints were taken up to heaven when Christ died. God Bless

I'm glad you understand the concept. It's nice to find others that do.

Very nice. Can't say I disagree with that one!

I know for sure they should never have made Torry feel uncomfortable enough to want to be traded. Losing Holt was detrimental to our offense. Jackson can't do it alone. But hey, maybe this week. Holt didn't even seem confident that his new team could win when asked about playing the Rams this week. Ain't that something? He was also very shocked that they were 0-5. Thought they would have won...

Yep my/your Rams and my hubby's Chiefs. Misery love company I suppose. With both teams sharing the basement with the possibility that Missouri might become the first state with multiple teams that may end up with a combined record of 0-16. Ouch!

I agree with you 100%. We as a society could learn a lot from the animals around us.

I'm glad that I was able to share these wonderful recipes. The homemade taquitos are top of my list.

In my Catholic parish we are taught to show love and kindness even to those who have misjudged others and treat them with the same dignity and understanding we would of the person who say might have or be dying of AIDS. We are continually taught that we need to try our best to see others through the eyes of Christ. It's truly a challenge, since all of us are mere mortals carrying sin as our bag...

Wow....where's the love, where's the excitement?

Look I know the Rams have had their struggles and are coming off of a season that they ended with a 10 game losing streak. But shouldn't there be some sort of excitement for a team that has been...

for all football fans: excited about the new season?

You know I was excited before the first game with a new coaching staff, new front office personnel, but....alas my team has now lost 12 in a row, starting with the 10 they lost in 2008. It's just...

what the heck is purgatory?

Purgatory is actually another misunderstood Catholic doctrine. It's not considered a spiritual jail or hell with parole. And Catholics don't teach that everyone goes to purgatory. The Church actually...
