 India willmiss him but not that dearly. Murali Vijay is an able replacement for Gambhir. Though not as flamboyant as Gambhir, he is very effective too. He can be a fast scorer as well if the pitch would assist strokemaking. Else he can stick to the task of accumulation on a slow pace.

Replacing Dravid is impossible. He is a phenomenon. The best team player I have ever seen. The kind of sacrifices and adjustments he has made for the team is unparallel. his devotion for the game, concentration while batting and fielding, gentleman behaviour on the ground and contribution towards victory is hardly comparable.

I don't credit Dhoni's Captaincy for the wins. If one analyzes the record you will find that the victories have been a result of individual brilliances rather than a tameffort to win. And also the matches were won with much ease so captaincy was never under pressure. I dont think the test will go the distance.India should comfortable finish off the remaining srilankans before tomorrows tea.
