What is the criteria to get my discussion's in Today's hot discussuion section?

I just want to know how a discussions comes to Today's hot discussion section? 1. Should it have many responses? 2. Or does it depend upon the topic? I have never seen my discussion under this section. Can any user see his/her own discussion under this section? want answers from u all.

I haven't started new discussions for quite sometime so i don't have any personal experience to share. But seeing from the discussions posted under this section of hot discussions, i feel it depends upon the topic, and also quality and quantity of responses posted to a particular discussion. good luck. happy posting. :)

I think that to get a top discussion requires the discussion to be visited a lot, not just replied to.

I do not really know how all of that work out at all. I guess you just got to be lucky and make it there somehow.
