Optimist sees the rose, Pessimist sees the thorn..

I got this one and i dissagree some things are deffinatly evil no matter how you may percieve them .Take for instance the recent killings in virginia tell me some good about that?

I see the rose as well as thorn, who Iam? optimist or pessimist ?

these days, there are most pessimist people around than optimists. pessimists always stress out on the negative things even without balancing everything. they seem to ignore the good side of life. and i hate those people. people who neglect the beautiful side of life. i am a pessimist. that no matter how hard life seems to be for me, i still look at the brighter side of life. i don't live in a fantasy world. but i always try to handle things better. i cry if i must but i won't let my emotions bring me down. when i commit mistakes, i find out where i went wrong and try to make things right. i hope people will help each other up rather than see everything in negatives.

Yes, that is the difference between positive attitude and negative attitude towards life. It varies from person to person. A positive person finds prosperity in adversity, where as a negetive person finds always adversity all around. It is this attitude that makes the difference in various achievements among persons always and everywhere. Also, it has been well said, "If you think that you can do, then you can. But if you think that you can not do then also you are right!" So importance of positive attitude for success is obvious and cent percent. Thanks.

i am the one tht is on the fence. i like to look at the roses but yet i can see the thorns as well. i try to hope for the best prepare for the worst though. i look at things in both directions at the same time and just get ready. if you think life is all roses you are living in a dream world and wil be hurt alot. but if you live looking at the thorns all teh time you will never make dreams come true. you have to be on the fence but i do know people that are one or the other.

Negative attitudes are the most unhealthy things in life. Better to see the glass half full than half empty.

I so agree with your statement and I think that is how life is as well. I think more people should be optimist because pessimists bring the world down with them.
