Do "Discussions I've Started" Pay More On MyLot?

I am a newbie here. MyLot veterans may please help me with my curiosity. Do Discussions that I Start Pay me more on MyLot? Secondly, have responses to my discussions to do anything with my earnings? Thanks. I appreciate your responses.

You can respond to discussions and recieve just as much earnings as if you are starting one.Quality earnings may give you more earnings.When you start a discussion as soon as as you recieve a response you will get credit for that discussion.I normally respond more than I did before and my earnings seem to be fine.
