There are many to consider, I suppose... I could go with an "older" selection like The Great Wall of China... which is definitely a marvel of diligence and scale that's almost unparalleled. On a different scale, I'd consider buildings like the Taj Mahal, or the Alhambra palace, or Angkor Wat. Or then again, maybe something more modern-- recent marvels of engineering like the system of sea walls keeping the Netherlands (much of which is below sea level) safe from storm surges; or Kansai International Airport near Osaka, Japan-- built on an entirely man-made island connected to land by a 2-mile long bridge; or the Three Gorges Dam project in China. Hard to choose... but I think I'll cast my vote for the Great Wall. Having written this, I then found this site:http://www.new7wonders.com/
