I had my camera with me at my parents house yesterday as I am trying to capture as many special moments as I can with them, Outside their front widow there are some gorgeous Cherry blossom trees . Now!!I look at them in wonder as I love nature, I love all the changing colours of ivy and all the trees as they change over the seasons during the year, As the blossom from the trees fall it looks to me like confetti scattered at a wedding and just so romantic and fairytale looking ( OK I am an old romantic) but Mam sees it as a mess and she thinks it looks so messy and untidy and chokes the drains, I cant understand this as it is nature and beautiful, how do you feel about that?? the picture below is the one I am talking about, I am now using it on my desktop .

That picture is absolutely beautiful as nature and only nature can portray beauty. The leaves turning colors and then when it is time falling to the ground. I love to stroll through leaves that have fallen to the ground. Are even roll around in them. I don't see it as messy but the drum rolls of God as each season comes through and plays its part of showing people what wondrous things that God can do. It has always amazed me how God could orchestrate such beauty in each season of the year. Each season being unique all on it's own merits.

I see nature as beautiful as humans are also a part of nature and we use nature to acquire food and resources necessary to build houses and other products used today.

I see all the stuff you desrcibed as beautiful! As you described it I could actually see it. My mama is the same way, she would be out there in seconds trying to rake it up and get rid of it! I don't understand it either!

As a still shot as the one in you're picture shows i think it looks absolutely fantastic! However my only problem with nature is when i have leaves in my front garden. I have seen some wonderful pictures lately, now that spring is here, it tends to be even prettier! The only downfall of this weather, is bee's and wasps :( Dont know why im so petrified of them, i run around like a big girl if i see one! Although i bet there more scared of me than i am of them!

Yes, nature is generally beautiful weemam-have you ever seen trees suddenly develope deep green leaves after the rains have returned? I used to walk in the bushes around my home just as the first rains have hit the earth in my part of country! There you see flowers emerging from the ground where you least expected them, adourning the natural world with impeccable beauty! Have you ever seen how descreetly caring nature is? While you look at the red pinkish large flowers of the barbadoes tree as the most beautiful thing in nature your eyes have ever seen, the bees get into them to partake of the nector which they utilize to make sweet honey for mankind to harvest and put to economic use! It becomes a chain of interdependece and goodness among natural things-the flowers are beautiful to see, they give nector, the bees go for the nector, they pollinate the flowers and afford them to bear fruits to be enjoyed by man and animals alike! Yes nature is so beautiful that nothing artificial can ever come any where near this beauty!

I can see both side's but personally I love those trees and there is a white one accross the road from where Im living now and on a windy day its looks like snow and snow is beautiful to look at but it does make a mess of things and makes life more difficult. I think what it really comes down to is your outlook on life, if your outlook is positive then you will see it as beautiful but if it is negative then it is a nuisance. Who has to clean up this mess of your Mum's I wonder??? and is this why she sees it as a nuisance.

I wonder why humans detach themselves from nature when in fact we are a part of it. We are a relatively small part of nature, ants, in fact number more than us. And we are the one's who are a nuisance to our own kind. We abuse the very source of our existence. I'm not saying we should stop building houses or riding cars but my point is we should do so with respect to nature, but sadly nowadays we have come to a point where nature has been categorized as a hindrance to man's technological advancements. We are slowly killing our life source, I do hope we recognize that fact before the earth gets fed up and starts hurling lava at us.

Sorry I got so engrossed with the nature thing I totally forgot about your cherry blossoms. I haven't seen one yet but your picture shows them in riotous disarray so characteristic of nature, fecund and free, and of course beautiful. :) Your photo really did capture the essence of the cherry blossoms.

I think nature is beautiful. I take many pictures of trees, the sky, flowers etc. I also love being outside. I do have to say, in the fall when our beautiful maple trees loose their leaves, it is a pain to rake up the leaves everyweek since we get a lot of leaves with big trees. I still love nature.

i think its both. nature is beautiful. the flowers, the mountains, the seas, i love them. i love looking at them. but when mother earth rages, i think its really a nuisance and the same time terrifying cause at any moment it can cause devastation and destruction.

I love nature. Especially in springtime. The flowers blooming everywhere. beautiful flowering trees. The birds coming out and singing as they make ready for their babies. The butterflies fluttering around. New plants emerging from the winter resting places. Yup Nature is true beauty. I will always enjoy it.

Oh weemam, that was a nice picture you got there. I'm living in an urban city and the only thing I can see are buildings and cars AND pollution, LOL! We do have some nice spots all over the country. I often got to a place that's up the hill and simply stared at the mountains ahead of me. Somehow, it help me feel reconnected with the nature again.

Oh honey, you are talking about *this* discussion? Well, if you go check my postings, you will realise that I was not online when you posted this discussion. One needs to sleep sometimes. I *just* saw this email notification. Anyway I am not really a fan of cherry blossom. Too pinky and "faint". :P

If nature is about trees, greeneries and fresh air, I see nature as beautiful because I can relax and enjoy. Just like the image you have attached. Awesome. If nature is about beasts and insects, I view it as nusiance as I am bothered by it when I am out in the wild. I just cannot stand flying insects.

When people are preoccupied with some other things, they are likely not able to appreciate the beauty of nature or even people around them. That doesn't mean that they are like that at any other times! Just wait and see they come running to you and say this and that is breathtakingly beautiful.
