My Ebay Scam...

Doesn't that feel good when that happens, I have had that happen to me a few times and was very pleased with Paypal. You just have to remember to file your claim early cause they have a deadline of how long they can refund your money back, I waited 2 months one time, arguing with the Seller the entire time and finally when I did file it was too late for me to get my funds back the only thing left to do was to leave negative feedback, which I hate to do cause you know it will come back and bite you.

I had a similiar thing with ebay, but i used my credit card, and now in the past 2 months i am in a big law suite with them. Wish me luck. They took 101.50$ from me.

Uggh!! I am so sorry you went threw that..isnt it so discouraging? I have been there and took me months to get my money back..It just sux theer are people like that..and thats why i dont ever buy from anyone that has 99.8 % rating and up..sometime i may go to 98..but very rarely..and i dont htink i wil ever buy anything expensice either on there.too much worrying if u get it or not..but i still love Ebay and its my favorite shopping site lol.

I'm glad to hear that you got back your money. $30 may not be much but it is still a hard earned money. For $30, I can probably buy a week supply of grocery items here in my country. Paypal does have a good reputation. One only need to believe, that justice indeed still exist in this confusing world.

you were lucky enough to get your money back.i was not so lucky like you.recently i was just being cheated in ebay.the seller cheated me eventhough he received so many positive feedbacks.a few days after i paid for the item ebay suspended the seller's account.i immediately filed a claim to paypal.i paid using debit card through paypal.paypal just sent me an email last night.they said the favor was on my side.the seller didn't respond in 10 days.but unfortunely they cannot refund my money back because the seller has $0.00 balance in his account.they said if the funds available in the seller's account again they will refund to me.but i no longer trust paypal and ebay.if they just gonna replied with saying that nobody would wanna pay using paypal again.they is no justice i received.i am so sad.so i hope my first payment from mylot can recover my losses

Being a seller on ebay .. I can't listen to anything wrong about ebay .. because I know how much hard work I do to just to make my clients happy. It's really sad that there are some users on ebay which just make fun of the site and this will create a bad impact on the buyer. Ony 1 single bad seller on ebay can make whole ebay to be said as bad. Even though ebay tries hard to get the bad sellers away but still some bad sellers came into light after doing bad things .. but their life on ebay is not long.. they will get unregistered from ebay very soon.

Sure glad to hear the outcome was in your favor, Marie. I trust PayPal very much also since they also ruled in my favor on the complaint I filed with them. I've been buying and selling on eBay for years, and will only use my PayPal account to pay for something...that way I feel I am protecting myself in case of something going wrong.

That is why I only pay for things on ebay with Paypal and when I sell I only accept Paypal payments. It gives BOTH sides some extra protection.

Wow this is great. I am happy that you have got your money back. If paypal or e-bay or any other site act this way no one can do cheating online. I hope everyone will get justice like this.

i have paypal account too.what if we dont have a verified paypal account and we get cought into a scam.will the paypal still judge in our favour.

This is why I only ever use PayPal. It has to be one of the safest payment methods on eBay and elsewhere. I'm glad you got your money back, and I hope you left appropriate feedback too

I'm glad that you got your money back. I'm afraid to try buying online from eBay or any other selling sites because a lot of scammers are abusing this kind of service. Thanks to eBay and PayPal they have a means of protecting its patrons.

U should rate the seller that u got scammed by as ebay publishes the user rating. U should also try and read their reliabilty ratings b4 u buy. Paypal is prolly the safest and best method to pay on the internet. I trust it wholeheartedly.
