Too many discussions with no response?

I think it is because so many people are posting that it just gets bumped to the next page right away. People don't have a chance to see it, unless it makes top discussion.

I think when mylot is too busy, meaning a lot of people are online and posting like crazy, some of the discussions gets buried under all the clutter. At the same time (I haven't looked, sorry) there might be too many discussions already in the same topic. If I have answered one of them already, I usually skip the others. I'll take a look at the discussions you have started, hopefully I can help.

Hi Jchampany, Did you post the questions under specific interests or general? I recently figured out that choosing an interest or category to start a discussion in really does increase the number of respondent's.

Well I just posted to your last 0 response discussion so your officially without any 0 response discussions. Great feeling huh? I wasn't able to comment on the specifics of your discussion but was able to talk about the subject. I hope that in the future you don't experience the 0 response discussions, but if you do just let us know. Mylot friends are great at trying to clear those up for us. :) Keep up the great posts.

i have a suggestion. i'll go answer some of yours that have no responses if you do the same for me.

I have a few also does not have any responses and I guess its normal to have that kind of discussions here. It may not appeal to be very interesting to other people here on mylot and its always the choice of mylotters. I also try to be selective with the topics that I respond to, its also a wake up call to make more interesting topics here for discussions not just for the sake of posting.

I'll take a look for your posts too. I try to go through a few pages of my friend's discussions, and at least find a couple on each page that interest me. I'm willing to give it a shot for you. Oh, the last few days seemed really slow to me - maybe there just aren't that many people around.

I've never found you boring sweets - I will have a look in a little while and try to make sure they all have at least one response! Haven't been on since Monday when they cancelled my op cos been feeling really bad so I haven't seen them! Take heart sweets - probably just that everyone has been busy! xxx

I don't have any suggestions for you. Wish I did, because I have a bunch of 0 responses, too. I've been very busy the last couple days, so haven't posted much, and a few times when I've tried to squeeze in a comment or two, myLot has been off for maintenance again. Then I forget that I didn't actually post my comments. That might be part of it. Anyway, it seems you had the best idea yourself, after all (posting here and getting your friends' sympathy so that they would post to your discussions).
