Love and friendship

I fell in love with my friend. In fact, we're already in our 7th year. I know that we really love each other. We had our ups and downs but it didn't end our relationship.

I'll put it this way, I've almost fallen in love with a friend, but refused to allow myself to do so for fear of losing the friendship. In retrospect, though, I wish I had, for now I'm plagued with countless what-ifs. It's a double-edged sword.

My husband and I were sort of friends for awhile before we actually started dating. I wasn't really intending to be in a relationship at that point in time, but I started falling in love with him pretty quickly, only I didn't tell him for awhile cause I was afraid he just wanted to stay friends. I was afraid I would freak him out if I told him how I felt, so I didn't really say much about it until he finally told me that he was in love with me first. Ever since then, we've pretty much been attached at the hip, lol.

I have...and we are still together:) We are going on 6 years. I love that we are so close, and it feels really good talking to him about anything and everything. We have similar political opinions and have similar interests too. We have both changed ALOT over the years and our relationship has only gotten stronger, thank goodness!

I did it but it didn't work with me. He so nice as my best friend but not as a boyfriend, so we broke up but still a good friend until now. A good friend is doesn't mean he is a good boyfriend right?

yes id id get into love with someone but becoz of my badluck i found her loving my another friend and i could not take the risk of telling her and breaking their relationship.

Yes! she was my very good friend. We did everything together and later i realize i was in love with her. Unfortunately, during the early time of our friendship she travel to USA and i did not hear from her till she call me one day and told me of her intention to marry another man at her end. it hurt me but life must go on! that's how it ended.

no i've never.but i think love and friendship,if we can have both from the same person,that will be wonderful,this kinda relationship might last forever.to me it will rarely happen because i dont chase boys:)

When i was at school i had a best friend who was a boy but after a long long time i got stronger feelings for him, however it wasnt returned, as we got older we tried to give it a go but it did not work. i still see this person now and we have just got back in touch with each other, it isnt the same though, we are just friends now and nothing more, i think we've both grown up and the years have changed many things for both of us.

Yes. Once i had some female friends, and i really loved one of them. I just showed my love to her, but she didn't accept it. Not because she didn't love me. Just she didn't break down the frendship of other good friends. So at last we didn't become lovers.Yes it is a pity.
